Get creative with real leaves to make printed patterns and to press into air-dry clay. Play with different colours and shapes, then make a decoration from your chosen leaf and add a message of hope.

Discover the wonderful world of wildlife at Little Zoo To You – a mobile (and travelling) mini zoo filled with fun, excitement and a wide range of exotic animals for all ages to absolutely adore.

Friday 2 August | 10am – 12:30pm & 1:30 – 4pm | Guild Hall Foyer | £2
Using scrap and recycled materials, make finger puppets, props and mini performance spaces with local artist, Sarah Hicks. There will also be the opportunity to produce mini plays with your creations and to perform to the rest of the group!
📌Suitable for ages 4+. Younger children will require an adult to help.

From googly eyes to pipe cleaners and wool, this activity enables kids to use an array of different craft materials to create their own unique story characters. After creating a pet rock pal, kids can head on over to the story mixing station to bring their newly created character to life by writing or illustrating a short story using story cards from Magical Story Jars.

Come and meet our two Greek Olympians, running silly and wonky versions of the Olympic Games! Play games such as: Sock Shotput, 100 yard yell, Mime assault course, Space hopper bounce and many, many more.

Make an alien world in a tin! Using imagination and scrap materials to create alien planets and their inhabitants, adventure into outer space with local artist, Sarah Hicks. There may also be the odd flying saucer thrown into the mix.

Craft a rocket fit for the proudest of astronauts and zoom off to a fantastic imaginary world created by you and your incredible imagination! After making your shiny new rocket, head on over to the story mixing station to bring your newly created story prop to life by writing or illustrating a short space themed adventure story. Add a sprinkling of magic dust and mix in a dollop of ideas sparked by the story cards from Magical Story Jars along with some help and guidance from the Chief Story Makers.
Who travels in the rocket? Which newly created world does it zoom off to and who do your story characters meet along the way? From a journey to space to meet the slime aliens in candyfloss canyon to a new planet filled with dancing unicorns and friendly robots? You decide!
