Beattie (1845-1917) was a local artist who painted Preston at a time when the old town centre was being swept away to make way for new buildings like the Harris. This exhibition offers you the chance to share your memories in our interactive display space and see how contemporary artists and photographers are recording the changes in Preston a century after Beattie’s death.
