The Museum and Art Gallery will be closed until 2024 for the exciting Harris Your Place project.
The library will temporarily relocate to the Guildhall.
Between Monday 4 October and Saturday 18 October you will be able to access library services online – there is a huge selection of e-books and magazines for you to take a look at. If you prefer to use in-person services then visit Lancashire County Council – Find a Library to find your nearest library during the Harris’ closure. We will also offer a ‘Six of the Best’ collection, click here to find out more.
You will be able to drop off books and pick up ordered books from the entrance to the Harris until we re-open in the Guildhall on Monday 18 October.
Computers will be closed during this period.
From Monday 18 October, The Harris library services and IT services will be available for all in its new ‘home from home’ in the Guild Hall.
