We are joining the National Lottery Open Week! Thanks to you the Harris receives funding from Arts Council England and has recently been awarded a National Lottery Heritage Fund grant of £4.5m towards the £10.02m Harris Your Place project. A major refurbishment which will see new spaces to enjoy, more opportunities to be inspired, and Preston’s hidden collections on show.
Ahead of the refurbishment starting later this year, we are thrilled to be welcoming visitors in to enjoy the Museum, Art Galleries, Library, Shop and Café, and the magnificent collections and artworks currently on display.
As a special thank you to national lottery players we invite you to enjoy a hot drink and a cake for just £1 in our café between 5-12 June (open Monday – Saturday, 9.30am – 4pm)
You do not need a ticket to visit the ground floor café. Just show a current lottery ticket to the person serving you.
